We are a general contracting company that specializes in custom woodwork, cabinetmaking and millwork. Our work divides between strictly cabinet/millwork and general contracting.

We also welcome bathroom and kitchen renovations and installations. We are very familiar with decorative wall finishes including: painted furniture finishes, faux finishes, wallpapering, and metal laminated walls and surfacing. We do stone, tile and more.

Our customers are mainly Manhattan apartment owners. Space Carpenter has done commercial work including showrooms, Madison Ave stores, and large office renovations. Although we are located and work in Manhattan we will consider any location.

While we invite all usual work our other involvements have been in metal antiquing, restorations, unusually difficult installations, matching an existing finish or molding, customizing standardized cabinets, audio-visual installations, decorative lighting and more.

Our other services include consulting, designing, construction management, and drawing services.

Our general philosophy is that it can be done. We have achieved results when many others have claimed it could not be done. We are service oriented and want to make it easy for you to get the project done.
